Design Case Study: Personal Cooling Fan

My Role: Parametric CAD Execution, Design Problem Solving, & Mechanical Negotiation

Brought onto the project to spearhead implementation, my responsibility was to execute and defend the product's design intent from the P1 development phase through to final Tooling Release Approval (TRA). I parametrically rebuilt the entire system in CAD, establishing a robust digital architecture that allowed us to seamlessly negotiate tight DFM constraints with engineering and product development. Through this rigorous technical stewardship, we successfully preserved the design's ultra-compact form factor, bringing to life a highly versatile personal cooling ecosystem defined by complex accessory integration, modular attachments, and a fluid, twisting-arm user interaction.
