Stepping into the project at a critical mid-stage juncture, my role was to shepherd the design through its final mechanical build (P3) and secure design intent through to Tooling Release Approval (TRA). This required rebuilding the design from scratch in CAD to reconcile the original industrial design aesthetic with a tightening mechanical envelope, and successfully negotiating critical DFM constraints with engineering without compromising visual intent. Additionally, I spearheaded the complete redesign of the floor nozzle, packaging a highly complex, top-of-the-line mechanical system into our smallest and highest-performing footprint to deliver a cohesive, production-ready product.
